Teaching Excellence: Secondary Teacher Opportunity

Job Summary: We seek a qualified and dedicated secondary teacher to join our team and contribute to the academic excellence and character development of our students.

About the Role: As a secondary teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across various subjects, including Religious Education, Study of Religion, Learning Support, Science, Drama, Mathematics, and Music. You will assess student progress, provide feedback, and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
  • Classroom Environment: Maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment that fosters social responsibility and diversity.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and implement school-wide initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications and Registration: Relevant tertiary qualifications and registration with the relevant teaching authority.
  • Work Rights and Eligibility: Australian work rights and eligibility to teach in a Catholic school setting.
