YOUR POSITION

As a vital member of the esteemed Family and Estates Law Team, you will report directly to an industry-leading Managing Partner and Senior Head Lawyer. You will thrive in a supportive atmosphere that fosters mentorship while tackling challenging legal matters related to:

  • Divorce and separation, financial/property settlements, child custody and support, adoption;
  • Wills, trusts, powers of attorney, probate, succession planning, asset protection, guardianship, and estate administration.

Key responsibilities include engaging with clients, solicitors, and barristers, drafting legal documents and correspondence, preparing briefs for barristers, and participating in settlement discussions and court proceedings.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are eager to connect with candidates who:

  • Possess a minimum of 18 months of experience in both family law and estates/wills, or at least 2 years of experience in either field;
  • Exhibit high levels of motivation and organization, with the ability to meet deadlines;
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of thriving in a busy and fast-paced environment;
  • Are genuinely committed to a long-term career as a specialist in both family and estates law;
  • Are willing to travel occasionally as required.
