Job Description:

Job Title: Land Survey Technician - Fibre Design Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Land Survey Technician to join our team at HRG. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing optimal fibre design solutions for our customers by performing a range of fibre network design activities in both field and office environments.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake route identification and site surveys to determine fibre network requirements in accordance with company standards and legislation.
  • Identify property and land ownership boundaries through application of cadastral survey knowledge and experience.
  • Accurately and efficiently contribute to completion of detailed designs, cost estimates, and feasibility studies.
  • Maintain client databases and contribute to cost-effective solutions for network build, rearrangements, and cutovers.
  • Undertake positive engagement and consultation with property and utility owners and occupiers.
  • Build effective relationships with customer and stakeholder groups to ensure timely delivery of customer services.
  • Prioritise safety and maintain network integrity at all times.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Certificate III or Certificate IV or Diploma in Surveying.
  • 5 years post-qualification relevant industry experience.
  • Extensive AutoCAD 2D drafting experience.
