Database Administrator Job

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our database environment, providing application deployment and support, and advising on advanced database optimization initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, including experience with SQL servers and scripting languages such as batch script, VBS, and PowerShell. They should also have knowledge of database development, including writing complex SQL scripts, reporting, and ETL process development.

Suitable applicants will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They should also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the testing, training, and production database environment
  • Provide application deployment and support for core business applications
  • Advise on advanced database optimization initiatives

Requirements:

  • Experience managing production SQL servers within a corporate environment
  • Knowledge of database development, including writing complex SQL scripts
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
