Finance Specialist Opportunity

A seasoned Finance Specialist is sought to spearhead the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA Finance modules in a Sydney-based project.

The ideal candidate will possess full unrestricted work rights in Australia and have experience in designing, configuring, and customizing General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivables (FI-AR), Asset Accounting (FI-AA), and Controlling (FI-CO) modules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and configure SAP S/4 HANA Finance modules to meet business requirements.
  • Conduct workshops with stakeholders to gather system requirements.
  • Drive discussions to finalize key decisions supporting SAP PPM/PS design.
  • Integrate SAP modules including Materials Management, Plant Maintenance, Project Systems, and Human Resource Management.
  • Deliver end-user training workshops.
  • Develop test scripts and conduct unit testing and integration testing against business requirements.
  • Support data migration during cut-over.
  • Prepare system documentation, user manuals, and test scripts.
  • Develop functional specifications for WRICEF aligned with business needs.

Essential Skills:

  • Full life cycle project implementation experience, including requirements analysis, prototyping, configuration, testing, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in configuring FI Sub-modules General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivables (FI-AR), Asset Accounting (FI-AA), and Controlling (FI-CO).
  • Strong understanding of direct and indirect activity allocations, labour costing, cost center assessment, order and project settlement.
  • Familiarity with Integration environments involving FI-MM and FI-PM and Project Systems.
