Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic food business as an Assistant Restaurant Manager. The company is known for its simple, soulful Lebanese-Australian cuisine and rapid expansion.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager on daily operations to ensure seamless store performance.
  • Develop a positive atmosphere and deliver exceptional customer experiences consistently.
  • Monitor food quality and maintain high standards in all aspects of the store.
  • Lead and motivate team members to achieve their best, driving sales growth and operational efficiency.
  • Support the Store Manager in achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and enhancing store profitability.
  • Provide ongoing training and coaching to staff, promoting continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Manage team scheduling and financial targets within the business.
  • Maintain rigorous food safety standards across the store, ensuring customer trust.
  • Ensure optimal cleanliness and equipment hygiene to support efficient store operations.
  • Prioritize customer and staff safety, adhering to strict WHS guidelines.
  • Optimize stock levels to guarantee product availability.
Qualifications
  • Completed or willing to undertake a Food Safety Supervisor course.
  • Previous experience in a management role within the hospitality industry.
  • Passion for good food and excellent customer journeys; up for a challenge.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Exceptional people management skills and conflict resolution abilities.
  • A friendly, approachable personality and strong leadership qualities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; interacting with customers daily.
  • Proactive attitude towards completing store tasks.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
