Job SummaryWe are currently looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Software Developer based in Phnom Penh.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and modify in-house software applications by participating in new requirements, designing, implementing, testing, and supporting custom solutions.
- These solutions include feature enhancements, new functionalities, and back-end systems integration.
- Work closely with the IT team to leverage the newest software and hardware technologies.
- Model the organization's values and associated behaviors within the office.
- Develop technical specifications and test plans, coding tests, and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology.
- Interact with subject matter experts (functional & technical) to understand business requirements and technology architecture of the applications accordingly.
- Maintain and modify programs, make approved changes by amending flow charts, develop detailed programming logic, and coding changes.
- Evaluate simple interrelationships between programs, such as whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part.
- Analyze the performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of supervisor.
- Write the operational documentation with technical authors.
- Maintain the system by monitoring and correcting software defects.
- Investigate new technologies and provide on-the-job training to related staff.
- Contribute to code reviews for quality assurance and conformance to standards/guidelines.
- Provide technical guidance and lead/develop team members.
- Assist in infrastructure and system software setup for development and testing environment.
