Diagnostic Radiologist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team. The successful applicant will have extensive experience in Body Imaging, including abdominal, pelvic, and chest CT and MRI (with vascular imaging), body ultrasound, and plain radiography and fluoroscopic procedures.

The role involves providing expert medical assessment and management of patients within the department/service. The successful applicant will contribute across a broad clinical spectrum, including active participation in multidisciplinary team meetings covering Upper and Lower Gastrointestinal Radiology, Uro Radiology, Hepatobiliary Radiology, and Gynae-oncology.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in additional subspecialties such as Chest, Paediatric Body, or Cardiac Radiology and be able to work effectively and harmoniously with medical and other health services colleagues as part of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a high standard of professional behaviour to junior medical staff and provide teaching and supervision to junior doctors and medical students.

  • Registration or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists
  • Evidence of continuing medical education and self-monitoring/audit practices consistent with the scope of practice requirements of the position
  • Proven capacity and/or experience in the provision of effective high quality service in the specialty
  • Demonstrated commitment to teaching and research relevant to the role and needs of the Department
