We are seeking an experienced Clinical Mental Health Specialist to join our team in South, Tasmania. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality mental health services to consumers in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assertive community-based mental health care to consumers through active therapeutic engagement, monitoring, and review of mental state and response to treatments.
- Conduct specialist assessments and provide treatment services to consumers, including triage and assessments, safety planning, and contributing specialist skills and experience to treatment and transfer of care.
- Promote community awareness in relation to mental health and act as a consultant to other services regarding the support and care of consumers with mental health needs in the community setting.
- Mental Health experience and AHPRA registration.
- Working with Vulnerable People registration.
- Specialist assessment and treatment skills, including triage and assessments, safety planning, and contributing specialist skills and experience to treatment and transfer of care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with consumers, families, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
- A competitive salary of AU$120,000 per annum, plus superannuation.
- The opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, with access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- A flexible working arrangement that includes full-time, shift work or part-time hours, depending on your preference.
