We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Commercial Banking Operations team. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting internal and external stakeholders with enquiries relating to our Commercial business customers.
This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will have the chance to work closely with colleagues from Business & Private Banking and Institutional Banking, delivering exceptional service to a wide range of customers including small businesses, franchises, and large-scale corporate customers.
About the RoleThe Commercial Banking Operations team is responsible for the fulfilment, settlement, and servicing of Commercial Lending products for the Group. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing superior levels of internal and external customer service by responding to and managing customer and stakeholder enquiries, complaints, and issues
- Identifying opportunities to improve the processes within your team or work area
- Undertaking investigations in respect to customer requests and/or as a result of transactional or exception-based issues
- Contributing to and/or completing reconciliations
- Completing general administrative duties as required
- Practising prudent risk management by identifying and responding to business risks
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Prior experience within a customer service or processing role with a strong customer focus and a sense of urgency to meet customer expectations in short time frames
- Even better if you have Banking/Finance experience in a call centre/contact centre environment
- Strong communication skills - both written and oral
- Great attention to detail
- Strong PC skills and ability to utilise programs such as MS Office
- The ability to work well under pressure and with high volumes of workload
