Commercial Banking Opportunities

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Commercial Banking Operations team. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting internal and external stakeholders with enquiries relating to our Commercial business customers.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will have the chance to work closely with colleagues from Business & Private Banking and Institutional Banking, delivering exceptional service to a wide range of customers including small businesses, franchises, and large-scale corporate customers.

About the Role

The Commercial Banking Operations team is responsible for the fulfilment, settlement, and servicing of Commercial Lending products for the Group. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing superior levels of internal and external customer service by responding to and managing customer and stakeholder enquiries, complaints, and issues
  • Identifying opportunities to improve the processes within your team or work area
  • Undertaking investigations in respect to customer requests and/or as a result of transactional or exception-based issues
  • Contributing to and/or completing reconciliations
  • Completing general administrative duties as required
  • Practising prudent risk management by identifying and responding to business risks
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience within a customer service or processing role with a strong customer focus and a sense of urgency to meet customer expectations in short time frames
  • Even better if you have Banking/Finance experience in a call centre/contact centre environment
  • Strong communication skills - both written and oral
  • Great attention to detail
  • Strong PC skills and ability to utilise programs such as MS Office
  • The ability to work well under pressure and with high volumes of workload
