***A Day in the Life of a Housekeeping Assistant***

You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in resident rooms, including dusting furniture and polishing fittings. You will also make beds with fresh linens, clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers, upholding high standards. You will tidy personal items while respecting residents' privacy and preferences.

You will also clean shared areas, such as dining and common rooms, by sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing floors to uphold a safe environment. You will wipe down surfaces, dust furniture, and ensure cleanliness throughout the facility.

You will use efficient systems to streamline cleaning processes and maintain real-time compliance with hygiene standards. You will check and clean vacated rooms, ensuring that all cleaning chemicals are used appropriately and safely.

You will participate in regular checks of supplies, reporting any shortages or equipment issues to the Supervisor. You will reflect on the day's achievements, ensuring that the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort are provided for residents.
