Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Primary Digital Technologies educator to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging and interactive digital technologies lessons to students.

Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement effective lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs, promoting student-centered learning and hands-on experiences with digital tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs in digital technologies, aligning with the Australian Curriculum.
  • Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate technology across the curriculum, enhancing cross-disciplinary learning and student outcomes.
  • Assess and support student growth, providing meaningful feedback that empowers learners.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong specialisation in digital technologies, with experience and/or training or education in ICT/digital technologies.
  • A Bachelor of Education or related field.
  • Technical proficiency in using tablets, interactive whiteboards, coding tools, and educational software.
  • Dynamic teaching practices, including the ability to create interactive and inclusive lessons tailored to diverse learners.
