About the Role
  • In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data analytics solutions to support business decisions.
  • You will work closely with the Chief Actuary and other stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to enhance portfolio performance.
  • Your expertise in data analysis and modeling will help us make informed decisions and drive business results.
Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively engage with profit centre managers and functions to understand reporting requirements.
  • Develop new or expanded portfolio monitoring capabilities to support business needs.
  • Drive reporting initiatives across multiple platforms for various audiences.
  • Contribute to change management and adoption of portfolio monitoring tools.
  • Strive for continuous improvement in coverage, accuracy, and adoption of portfolio monitoring tools.
  • Utilize tools to identify strategic underwriting and pricing initiatives.
  • Assist in other ad-hoc analyses as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, Actuarial, or related field.
  • Creative mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical and conceptual skills within the insurance industry preferred.
  • Proven track record of collaboration across functions delivering quality results.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and experience working in complex data environments.
  • Professional behavior with high integrity, including strong interpersonal skills.
  • Effective project and time management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel required.
  • Experience in Power BI, R, Python programming preferred.
Estimated Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
