We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Senior Accountant to join our team at Healthscope.
About the Role
This is a permanent full-time opportunity to work in a dynamic and complex business environment. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with month-end reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis. You will work closely with the Director of Finance and other stakeholders to provide timely and accurate financial information.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports, including month-end reporting and budgeting.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to the Director of Finance and other stakeholders.
- Work closely with the General Manager and Healthscope Corporate Office to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Lead a small team of accounting professionals and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including departmental managers and other finance teams.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Accounting (CA/CPA qualified is highly desirable).
- Experience in AP/AR, financial analysis, and ledger maintenance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner with internal stakeholders.
- A strong desire to work in a dynamic and complex business environment.
- The ability to thrive in a hands-on environment and provide support to departmental managers on the achievement of budget parameters.
