Job Overview

The Industrial team at a leading engineering and project management consultancy is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead project delivery across the full range of the construction project lifecycle stages. The successful candidate will work strategically with clients throughout the region and across technical disciplines, building and maintaining long-term relationships.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead project delivery from early phase scope definition to detailed design and construction phase support;
  • Provide project management and delivery leadership across key industrial projects;
  • Build strong long-term relationships with existing and new clients;
  • Play a vital role in local business development, leading bids and applying commercial judgement;
  • Develop and manage detailed Design Programs;
  • Work effectively in a team environment to deliver multi-disciplinary design;
  • Collaborate with remote design teams to successfully deliver key projects;
  • Mentor junior engineers for their professional growth and development;
  • Travel within Queensland to work alongside clients to deliver projects.
Requirements:
  • A degree-qualified Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, or Civil Engineer with extensive experience in delivering capital projects;
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to influence and drive successful project outcomes;
  • Strong long-term relationship-building skills and the ability to understand and translate client requirements into project deliverables;
  • Ability to develop and manage detailed Design Programs;
  • Experience working with remote design teams and mentoring junior engineers.
