Job Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Regional Development Officer in the Mid West region of Western Australia.

The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting economic and social development in the region, working closely with local government, industry partners and community stakeholders to drive growth and prosperity.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project manager and regional development specialist to contribute to the sustainable development of Western Australia's regions and agriculture, aquaculture, food and fisheries sectors.

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote investment and employment growth across the region.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for regional development and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Budget management and financial planning skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing administrative support to senior executives, including managing schedules, meetings, travel and correspondence.
  • Coordinating and promoting regional development through policy and planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, with a strong understanding of corporate governance frameworks.
