About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aviation Technical Instructor to join our team at BAE Systems Australia. As an Aviation Technical Instructor, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality technical training to the Australian Defence Force.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver technical training to Defence personnel in a simulated working environment
  • Undertake supervision of Defence personnel and provide guidance and mentorship
  • Develop and maintain training solutions and documentation
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, customers, and industry partners to ensure effective training delivery
  • Maintain accurate records of training documentation
Requirements
  • Demonstrated industry experience as a qualified Aviation Maintenance Engineer (AME) or Aircraft/Electrical Engineering experience with experience in Aviation Safety Regulations
  • A certificate III/IV in Aeroskills or higher qualification, or a current EASA/CASA licence
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Self-motivation, the ability to learn new concepts, and the drive to improve current processes
