Senior Geologist Job

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and mentor our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be at the heart of our projects, handling client communication, project planning, budgeting, and report preparation.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Geology or a closely related technical field, a minimum of 8 years of Geology experience, and a Professional Geologist (PG) license.

About the Role:
  • Supervise and oversee junior staff associated with hydrogeological investigations, environmental evaluations, and sampling
  • Prepare detailed design recommendations for complex or unusual conditions
  • Lead teams with varying responsibilities and tasks, provide counsel, advice, and in-house training to individual staff, and identify training needs
  • Serve as an initial reviewer on selected projects and independently scope and budget projects and prepare proposal documents
  • Cultivate client relationships and assist in identifying, pursuing, and securing new project opportunities
About You:
  • You must have effective communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing) using the English language
What to Expect:
  • Outdoor, hands-on work in all weather conditions
  • Traveling out-of-town (typically overnight) for assignments as necessary
  • Working outside of normal business hours when necessary
