Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Work Team Leader to join our team in delivering advanced Women's & Children's Social Work services.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with exceptional leadership skills and expertise in Social Work services to lead a team of Women's & Children's Social Workers. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of implementing operational activities, monitoring performance, and leading professional governance activities.

You will play a key role in achieving excellence in patient care, education, and research by collaborating with stakeholders and consumers within the Logan and Beaudesert Health Service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational plans and strategies to achieve service excellence.
  • Lead a team of Social Workers in delivering high-quality social work services.
  • Mentor and support staff to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and consumers to identify needs and develop solutions.
  • Monitor and evaluate service performance to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Requirements
  • Degree in Social Work or related field.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Social Work or related field (desired).
  • Proven experience in Social Work leadership roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
