About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at InfraBuild wire, Australia's largest manufacturer of wire for construction and manufacturing industries. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for executing CNC machining, including programming and operating a range of machinery, including multi-axis lathes and machining centres.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute CNC machining, including programming and operating a range of machinery
  • Build your skill and knowledge in machining special steels
  • Identify opportunities for improvement
  • Provide feedback via the maintenance management systems
  • Learn about safety management
Requirements
  • Hold relevant mechanical trade qualification or be currently completing your apprenticeship
  • Demonstrate an ability to read and understand G-Code
  • Demonstrate an ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Have experience with Fanuc, Siemens or Fagor Controls is highly desirable
  • Utilise or working towards proficiency in CADCAM systems is highly desirable
