As a Loss Prevention Officer at David Jones, you will play a key role in promoting safety and security across the store. Your primary responsibility will be to mitigate risk through overt and covert operations, and by implementing Stock Loss Management policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize losses
  • Conduct incident investigations and report findings to management
  • Manage stock loss prevention initiatives and monitor inventory levels
  • Ensure store safety and security protocols are in place and enforced
  • Build relationships with centre management, local authorities, and other retailers
  • Perform inventory management tasks and maintain accurate records
  • Represent the company in WHS matters and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Operate and maintain surveillance systems, including cameras and alarms

Requirements

  • Security License
  • First Aid Certificate
