Occupational Therapist Role

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage a caseload and deliver timely, quality therapeutic services to clients. This will involve assessing participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical function through clinical observations and standardised assessments.

You will interpret findings to create personalised treatment goals for each participant and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance their quality of life. Additionally, you will mentor and nurture early career clinicians, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.

To succeed in this position, you will require current general registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist. You must also possess excellent time management and organisational skills to effectively manage a varied caseload.

A proactive attitude and a strong commitment to ongoing professional development are essential. Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists is highly desirable.
