  • Cost Control
    • Enhances cost control tools, processes, and reporting frameworks.
    • Collaborates with project and budget managers to track spending and forecasts.
  • Talent Development
    • SUPPORTS AND MENTORS JUNIOR TEAM MEMBERS.
  • Reporting and Analytics
    • Produces accurate, timely cost reports and variance analyses.
    • Monitors risks, identifies potential issues, and supports mitigation strategies.

To succeed in this role, you will need a proven track record of cost engineering within the oil and gas or related heavy industries. You should have strong skills in cost control, forecasting, and budget management, as well as the ability to develop project estimates and manage cost baselines.

Required Skills:
  • Experience in Cost Engineering
    • Proven experience in cost engineering within the oil and gas or related heavy industries.
  • Certifications and Education
    • A qualification in quantity surveying or a related field is an advantage.
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong background in cost control, forecasting, and budget management.
    • Skilled in variance analysis (costs, hours, productivity, etc.).
