System Integration and Architecture Specialist

An accomplished System Integration and Architecture Specialist is sought to design, implement, and maintain sophisticated computer network systems and IT solutions. This role involves analysing infrastructure needs, developing comprehensive security measures, and ensuring optimal network performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and decide on all-IT infrastructure requirements considering future enhancement and implementation.
  • Design and implement Active Directory Server, deploy group policies, and connect users to the Domain Controller.
  • Improve hardware, software, and operating systems to ensure continued integrity and efficiency.
  • Manage Azure Active Directory with on-prem Active Directory as a hybrid cloud model.
  • Responsible for managing public cloud platforms (Microsoft Office 365) with Online Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Azure.
  • Implement firewalls, IT security profiles, firewall security policies, DDoS policies, VPN policies, IPS policies, and ensure core network security.
  • Responsible for managing VoIP-hosted phone systems, CCTV camera systems, employee identification cards integrated with building security systems.
  • Provide recommendations, specialist knowledge, and system security measures to software development teams to ensure system security.
  • Monitor network traffic, activity, capacity, and usage to ensure continued integrity and optimal network performance.
  • Communicate, educate, and liaise with users and management to ensure awareness and adherence to standards, procedures, and quality control issues.
  • Record and manage IT equipment and network inventory.
  • Implement and maintain policies and procedures of ISO 27001:2013 Information Security standard.
Requirements
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science.
  • More than 2 years of relevant professional experience in a corporate setting.
  • Experience in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices.
  • Experience in virtual configurations in VMWare vSphere and Hyper-V.
  • Experience in working on Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Intermediate computer skills, predominantly in Windows XP/7, cloud software, database systems (SQL, Oracle), backup and recovery databases, and MS Office.
