Financial Accounting Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at the Gold Coast. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to the long-term growth and success of our business.

About the Role

This Senior Financial Accountant role reports directly to the Financial Controller and involves delivering high-quality general accounting services. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Delivering timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders, including management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Investigating and resolving transactional issues, such as misallocations, late adjustments, and inter-company mismatches.
  • Performing analysis of financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in financial accounting principles and practices.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and develop insights.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and CA/CPA qualified.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a financial accounting role.
