About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Rail Systems team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to contribute to the delivery of a key social infrastructure project in South Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and control elements of rail systems project delivery works, ensuring effective technical, engineering, and inspection activities.
  • Maintain strong interfaces with engineering and design teams, as well as testing and commissioning activities for all aspects of rail packages.
  • Interpret engineering documents and drawings for field personnel, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Be responsible for work packages from tendering phase to final Quality Assurance completion, planning for defects liability period requirements.
  • Define scopes of work and highlight any discrepancies through the execution of project activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, with professional engineering membership desirable.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in rail project engineering, with knowledge of project management principles and practices.
  • Experience in a rail construction/engineering environment, with knowledge of general rail infrastructure, ideally across disciplines including Signalling, CSR, OCS.
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to engage others and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Rail Industry Worker (RIW) card holder, with Construction Induction White Card and Unrestricted SA Driver's Licence.
