Job Title: Cash Controller

About Our Team

We are seeking a highly skilled Cash Controller to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for the accurate management of all club monies and transactions.

  • Balancing of all financial records and reconciliations
  • Preparation of floats, including mini cash, CRT, Keno, Tab, Cash recycler, Bingo and Trivia
  • Checking and receipting of clearance on a daily basis
  • Balance all tills and floats when returned from Cash Recycler
  • Preparation of ATM and ATM filling
  • Minimise the clubs financial exposure during operational hours
  • Maintaining maximum security and accountability of valuables stored within the Cash Control Office
  • Ensure all equipment are functioning correctly
  • Completing all necessary tasks listed on the Cash Control Checklist
  • Have sound knowledge of compliance and work safety related to this role
  • Training others where required
Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A strong background in finance or accounting
  • Excellent reconciliation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Strong computer literacy skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • High level of professionalism with sensitivity to confidential matters
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Availability to work a flexible roster, including days, nights and weekends
