Brand Development Executive

The primary objective of this role is to enhance and maintain a brand's position in the market.

This involves formulating and executing strategic plans to drive brand growth, as well as analyzing market trends and consumer behavior.

Key responsibilities include developing long-term branding strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and collaborating with product development teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and brand positioning.

  • Formulate comprehensive branding strategies that align with business goals.
  • Lead integrated teams to execute branding initiatives and drive business results.
  • Partner with product development teams to ensure brand relevance and messaging consistency.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans to enhance brand visibility and appeal.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to define target markets and ensure adequate sales materials and promotional schedules are in place.
  • Champion brand education and profile within the organization, upholding alignment to core brand proposition and driving brand equity.
  • Oversee new product development (NPD) with overall responsibility for launch, activation, and range support through retailer review periods.
  • Work with agencies to develop and execute annual marketing campaigns.
  • Manage monthly and overall annual marketing budgets to ensure all activities come within budget.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of FMCG marketing experience, preferably in a similar capacity.
  • Experience in NPD and innovation with FMCG companies.
  • Strong commercial acumen and track record in brand marketing.
  • Proven ability to lead across advertising and storytelling, preferably in the packaged goods industry.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously.
