Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Philips team as a Senior Medical Equipment Specialist on the Deployable Health Capability Support Centre project. You will be responsible for performing maintenance activities, conducting inspections, and providing engineering support to our customer.
The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with internal teams, and liaising with suppliers to ensure smooth delivery of products. As a Senior Medical Equipment Specialist, you will be required to hold a full AU drivers license and be an Australian citizen.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Perform maintenance activities, level one repairs, and problem-solving for medical equipment
- Conduct technical service requests, problems, or planned service activities
- Accurately document service records using the service management system
- Manage customer escalations, complaints, and feedback following agreed processes
- Maintain a high level of knowledge through continuous training and development
- Be able to work reasonable additional hours outside business hours as necessary
- Assist with various logistical, operational, and order processing tasks
- Manage shipments, track, and record shipment details
Your Background
To be successful in this role, you will have a degree-level education in Biomedical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or experience as an Engineer in the Australian Defense Force. Experience in customer-facing service engineering within the medical equipment industry would be ideal. Proficiency in using order management and logistics software, knowledge of supply chain processes, and delivery schedules are highly advantageous.
