Senior Analytical Scientist

Job Role:
As a distinguished member of our laboratory team, the Analytical Chemist will execute all necessary analyses efficiently. Responsibilities encompass operating analytical instruments, preparing reagents and buffers, and evaluating test results.Key Accountabilities:
- Operate high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), gas chromatograph-flame ionization detector/mass spectrometry (GCFID/MS), Karl Fischer, dissolution apparatus, ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis), and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) instruments.
- Prepare buffers, mobile phases, reagents, and media for analysis.
- Evaluate raw material, intermediate, and finished product test results.
- Investigate suspected analytical laboratory testing anomalies.
- Maintain calibration of laboratory equipment.
- Resolve analytical instrument and software issues.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in chemistry or a relevant scientific discipline.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to adhere to established methods and procedures under FDA Current Good Laboratory Practice (cGLP) guidelines.
- 1-2 years of experience with HPLC/GCFID/MS and other analytical instrumentation.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
