We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our village, fostering a welcoming and supportive community for residents.

The successful candidate will possess exceptional leadership, operational, and financial management skills, with a passion for building lasting relationships and delivering outstanding service.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Building inclusive relationships with residents, ensuring their voices are heard and their village experience is exceptional.
  • Overseeing day-to-day village operations, balancing management duties with hands-on engagement to create a welcoming and supportive community.
  • Driving sales, completing home reinstatements, and maintaining occupancy levels in collaboration with the Sales Manager.
  • Delivering high standards of resident-focused service, fostering participation in activities, and ensuring residents feel connected and valued.
  • Leading and coaching the on-site team to excel in customer service and operational excellence.
  • Maintaining the financial sustainability of the village by preparing budgets, managing costs, and providing transparent financial statements.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, including the Retirement Villages Act and the Retirement Living Code of Conduct.

Key qualifications include:

  • Proven track record in operational management, with strong experience in retirement living preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget preparation and cost management.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, coach, and build high-performing teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and maturity to interact with residents with empathy and respect.
  • Commercial acumen and village management experience, with a focus on maintaining occupancy and fostering a positive reputation.
  • Strong understanding of the Retirement Living Code of Conduct, the Retirement Villages Act, and associated regulations.
