About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Diploma qualified Educator to join our team at Macquarie University. As an advocate for children, you will be responsible for contributing to the development of a high-quality educational program that promotes the well-being and learning of children aged 0-5 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the educational program, including the creation of developmental records.
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Work collaboratively with a large and diverse team to achieve common goals.
- Maintain a current understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards.
- Support and contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusion activities.
- Demonstrate a commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
- Undertake the Responsible Person and/or Room Leader roles as required.
- Follow approved policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
Requirements
- ACECQA approved Diploma in early childhood education.
- Approved First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis qualification.
- Working with Children Check.
- Legally entitled to work in Australia.
- Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 years is desirable.
