About Royal Rehab Group

We are a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to delivering life-changing disability and rehabilitation services.

As a Career Coach you will play a vital role in supporting our clients as they prepare for a meaningful career. You will work closely with clients to build strong relationships, understand their goals, strengths and support needs, and provide tailored coaching and regular check-ins to maintain motivation and progress.

You will also connect participants with upskilling opportunities, hands-on experience and group-based activities, and collaborate with employers and community services to open pathways to employment and training.

We are looking for a talented and compassionate individual who shares our values of inclusion, empowerment and person-centred practice. If you have experience in employment services and a passion for making a difference we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with clients to plan their next career steps and providing support to find the right job along the way.
  • Build strong relationships with clients to understand their goals, strengths and support needs.
  • Provide tailored coaching and regular check-ins to maintain motivation and progress.
  • Connect participants with upskilling opportunities, hands-on experience and group-based activities.
  • Collaborate with employers and community services to open pathways to employment and training.

About You

We are seeking an individual who brings empathy, energy and a strong drive to make a difference. You should have experience or a genuine passion for employment services and be confident in supporting people building trust and guiding them toward meaningful and sustainable careers.

You should be outcomes-focused highly organised and thrive in a fast-paced people-first environment. You should enjoy getting to know each client's unique strengths goals and challenges so you can coach them effectively and build their confidence for their next career.

You should also engage with employers taking the time to understand their business needs so you can prepare candidates who are the right fit. Your strong relationship-building skills should allow you to connect with both clients and employers alike.

Essential Criteria

  • Qualifications in Employment or Human Services e.g. Mental Health Psychology Social Work – desirable
  • Experience in employment services and supporting people with disability injury or health conditions
  • Proven ability to meet KPIs and create client-focused employment and skills plans
  • Confident in marketing clients to employers and facilitating group programs
  • Strong communication problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Knowledge of disability legislation support strategies and labour market trends
  • Current Driver's License – essential
