Job Title:

Material Handling Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Material Handling Specialist to join our team. This role plays a critical part in the company's growth and overall success by delivering quality service to our customers while performing scheduled maintenance and safety checks.

About the Role:

  • Servicing and repairing material handling equipment in a dedicated territory and customer base
  • Performing routine maintenance, completing service work - reactive & planned
  • Maintaining accurate service records of work performed
  • Conducting customer-focused scheduled and 'breakdown' services
  • Assisting in the preparation of field-based quotes for customers through the completion of jobs
  • Recording notes and filing service records appropriately
  • Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge, including emerging technologies in automation and telematics
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and services

Requirements:

  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; mechanical trade qualification desirable
