We are seeking an experienced Water Infrastructure Leader to join our team in Southeast Queensland. This role will involve leading the design of various water infrastructure projects, including networks and wastewater treatment plant upgrades.
You will provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline. Additionally, you will coordinate, manage, and complete projects from inception, including involvement in the bidding phase, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction phase support.
This is a key leadership position that requires strong project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal colleagues.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in water and/or wastewater projects within a dynamic consulting and design environment.
- Experience in leading project/technical teams.
- An interest in mentoring and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of applicable Australian codes and standards.
