Garment Technician Assistant Role

This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about fashion and have a keen eye for detail.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing photoshoot samples to ensure accuracy in fit, construction, fabric, and finishing details. They will also identify and communicate quality issues or discrepancies to the Garment Tech team.

In addition, they will manage and track sample movement across photoshoots and seasonal collection timelines. They will also support fittings by taking detailed notes and assisting with tech pack updates.

Furthermore, they will contribute to daily garment tech tasks, including spec reviews and measurement checks. They will also manage and track incoming factory parcels, ensuring timely delivery and accurate logging.

Requirements
  • Recent graduate or student of Fashion Design, Garment Technology, or a related field.
  • Some experience in a similar role, preferably within the fast fashion industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel.
  • Basic understanding of pattern making and grading.
  • Familiarity with tech packs and garment specs is essential.
  • General understanding of quality assurance.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
