Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated Support Professional to join our team at residential facilities offering short-term accommodation and holistic support to men experiencing homelessness.

This role requires a compassionate and experienced professional who can work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to provide holistic support to individuals experiencing homelessness.

About the Role
  • Develop strong, respectful relationships and create personalized plans for clients.
  • Provide outreach support and facilitate transitions into long-term housing arrangements.
  • Advocate for clients to access health, housing, legal, education, and well-being services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to service quality and development.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field is preferred.
  • Experience in support roles and working with people experiencing homelessness is essential.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centered approaches is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal, advocacy, and conflict resolution skills are required.
  • A current Australian Driver's Licence and Employee Working with Children's Check are necessary.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
