Job Purpose

The Project Coordinator supports the Project Manager in coordinating the Project Core Team in the successful completion of their assigned tasks within schedule, allocated budgets and scope to the required quality.

  • Supports the Project Manager to coordinate and facilitate internal Project Management governance process including project meetings and provides administrative support to the project as required.
  • Coordinates and facilitates internal Change Management as well as maintains its database and reports.
  • Coordinates and facilitates internal Project Risk, Opportunity and Improvement Management as well as maintains its database and reports.
  • Ensures and monitors the Project timesheet reporting are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Ensures that all invoices are done accurately and on time for all kinds of payments.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A formal qualification in Business Administration or Project Management or Engineering Management, either degree or certificate.
  • At least three years financial function experience OR at least two years project coordinating experience.
  • Specialized or cross-functional knowledge / relevant experience required by the position/role.
  • Experience in a large infrastructure project environment is highly regarded.
