Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Visual Effects Artist to join our team as a Rigger, responsible for producing high-quality rigs for digital doubles, creatures, props, and vehicles. As a Rigger, you will work closely with our Creature Supervisors and Animation Leads/Supervisors to develop the most suitable rigging solutions for our productions.

About You

  • You must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in VFX feature films or feature animation.
  • You should have deep knowledge and experience in Maya.
  • You should be comfortable with the technical aspects of character/creature work.
  • You should have programming or scripting skills, preferably in Python.
  • You should have strong visual and artistic skills.
  • You should have excellent understanding of anatomy.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with pipeline issues and typical creature-heavy post-production environments.
  • Strong facial rigging experience.
  • Software development experience in C++, PyQt, and Python.
  • Knowledge of areas in CFX including cloth, hair, and muscle/skin.
  • A good general TD background.
  • Understanding of Linux/Unix-based operating systems.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $80,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
