  • Offer personalized advice and support to enhance money management skills.
  • Contribute to community information sessions and presentations on budgeting and managing personal finances.

About the Role:

Our ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, strong interview techniques, and the ability to interact sensitively with people in financial distress. They will also have:

  • Strong knowledge of financial counselling practices, including budgetary processes and procedures.
  • Familiarity with legislation and frameworks concerning credit and debt issues affecting individuals experiencing financial stress.

Requirements:

  • Diploma of Financial Counselling or equivalent qualification.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
  • Current registration with a relevant financial association (including commitment to ongoing professional development and supervision).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
