Global Forwarding Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Global Forwarding Coordinator. This is a key position in our logistics team, responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of air freight shipments for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate international shipping by air from purchase order to delivery
  • Assist carriers and third parties with inquiries and problem resolution
  • Provide tracking and tracing services for customer shipments
  • Generate, file, and maintain up-to-date customer records, reports, and shipment documentation
  • Provide reporting and documentation collection to support global forwarding personnel and ensure customer data integrity
  • Perform load audits and ensure accurate information
  • Maintain adherence to customer Standard Operating Procedures, government agency regulations, and company standards
  • Elevate shipment issues or potential errors to supervisors and account managers as needed

Requirements:

  • Diploma or high school certificate

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Able to work in a fast-paced office environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and phone etiquette
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Exceptional customer service skills and follow-up
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong internet skills
