Job Opportunity: Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced maintenance professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of bitumen tankers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair bitumen tankers, including routine inspections, mechanical fault diagnosis, and preventative maintenance on tank systems, burners, pumps, valves, and hydraulics.
  • Carry out welding and fabrication repairs, monitor and calibrate temperature and pressure controls.
  • Work in workshops and on-site to support operational readiness and minimize downtime.
  • Inspect and repair heating systems, including diesel burners and LPG systems.
  • Servicing hydraulic systems for loading/unloading and checking insulation and tank integrity.
  • Cleaning and flushing tanks for contamination, testing and calibrating gauges and sensors.
  • Performing welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs, ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

About You:

  • Strong mechanical background with experience working with specialized equipment.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems, burner systems, and pipework.
  • Welding and fabrication skills, understanding of hazardous materials handling (hot bitumen).
  • Strong safety awareness and PPE compliance.
