About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Consultant to join our team at Perpetual Digital. As a Data Consultant, you will be responsible for providing timely, accurate, and responsive client support for both the Reserve Bank of Australia repo-eligibility and the Investor reporting services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support for clients to meet their Reserve Bank of Australia repo-eligibility reporting requirements
  • Respond to Investor enquiries and market data requests
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data and system related items with appropriate parties
  • Act as liaison with the RBA, Investors, Rating Agencies, and other third parties regarding data
  • Maintain correct and current information in related systems
  • Maintain and apply correct change management controls
  • Complete IT testing and provide project support as required
  • Onboard new RBA reporting clients including assistance with data mapping and data distribution
  • Ensure all client data is processed in accordance with the data governance templates, including timely troubleshooting where problems arise
  • Provide timely support to clients where system related problems arise
  • Actively manage multiple client service outlook inboxes and keep track of items requiring resolution
  • Build and maintain client relationships with all client stakeholders (annual Net Promoter Survey)
  • Maintain systems, accurate and current data
  • Liaise with IT partners to troubleshoot and test IT related items and develop new system functionality
  • Act as liaison between clients, the RBA, Investors, and Bloomberg as and when required
  • Complete monthly investor reporting using data extraction and conversion tools
  • Assist the Senior Data Consultant in delivering key projects and objectives
  • Invoicing clients
  • Risk Management – Maintain accurate record keeping as required for the annual ASAE3150 controls audit.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Consultant who has a strong background in data management and analysis. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience with data/numbers and high attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, proactively, and prioritize time and tasks effectively
  • Effective Problem Solver
  • Strong communication and client relationship management skills
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Familiarity with SQL, ETL Tools, and XML (a plus)
  • Understanding financial markets instruments, such as debt markets and securitization (a plus)
