Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to join our Primary team.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate students, dedication to evidence-based teaching practices and ongoing professional development, time management and organisational abilities, current VIT registration and relevant teaching qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, prepare and deliver programs to achieve specific student outcomes
  2. Use critical reflection to improve the knowledge, learning and skills of students
  3. Utilise multiple sources of feedback on their classroom practice to inform their professional learning goals
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning within the school and the wider education system
  5. Support and promote the values and ethos of the College based on the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
  6. Teach the Australian curriculum in the context of the college's values and ethos
  7. Lead daily devotions to students

Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum of a Bachelor of Education
  • Hold Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching or be eligible to apply
