Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Speech Pathologist to join our team as an NDIS clinician. As a Speech Pathologist with Hearth Support Services, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including children and adults with complex communication needs. You will be part of a collaborative team, working alongside Occupational Therapists, Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose swallowing disorders and develop effective treatment plans
  • Work with clients with complex communication needs, including those who require Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans
  • Provide education and support to clients, families, and support workers
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with best practices
Requirements
  • Qualified Speech Pathologist with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology or recognized equivalent degree
  • Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Employee Working with Children Check/NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current driving license and car
