Job Overview

The Contract Manager role plays a pivotal part in the development and management of contracts to guarantee defined outcomes are achieved to high standards and meet community requirements.

  • Maintain robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including commissioned service providers, to facilitate effective contract management.
  • Participate in establishing and formalising partnerships across regions to facilitate 'joined up' service provision.

About You

We seek an experienced administrator and communicator who is comfortable working in fast-paced environments with multiple projects and priorities. You will be a quick learner able to take on the varied responsibilities of this role.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline, public administration, business management, health administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge and experience within the primary health sector and current healthcare trends and community issues in South Australia.
  • Experience in delivering results in projects and program outcomes in primary health.
  • Ability to understand and interpret financial information related to commissioning activities.
  • Considerable experience in high-risk and value contract development and/or management or relevant project management experience.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to prepare detailed business documentation and communicate effectively to various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated analytical and conceptual skills to optimise business outcomes and solve complex problems.
  • Experience leading and delivering results across multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and across business areas, functions, and organisations.
