Newman Operations

Located in Western Australia's Pilbara region, Newman Operations is a key part of our Western Australian Iron Ore (WAIO) business, which produces high-grade iron ore for export to customers around the world.

As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable operation of our mobile plant and equipment, including autonomous trucks and other critical fleet assets.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Conducting complex diagnostics and maintenance activities/repairs on mobile plant & equipment;
  • Working efficiently and effectively on plant and equipment such as autonomous Trucks and other essential critical Mobile Fleet;
  • FOLLOWING SPECIFIC MAINTENANCE PROGRAMS AND PROCEDURES;
  • E nsuring accurate completion of technical documentation, reports and drawings as required;
  • Being comfortable in the use of computerised maintenance systems (SAP), including time confirmations, raising notifications and closing work orders;
  • Taking personal responsibility for helping the team achieve expected results by doing what is required and taking timely actions within the scope of ability without being supervised;
  • Undertaking training on a regular basis and providing support and coaching to work mates within area of responsibility;
  • Assisting the Maintenance Supervisor with rescheduling of work, organising and coordinating resources, scoping of work and determining priorities when required;
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and assisting in implementing new initiatives in a constructive way.

About Our Process

Estimated Salary Range: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience
