About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and a passion for retail space planning.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the Director in evaluating market needs and developing strategies for sales growth.
  • Apply strategic space planning guidance through store projects to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Allocation team to execute the Buyer's vision and strategy.
  • Review weekly performance by style and category against plan and forecast.
  • Implement in-season SKU count control to reduce inventory levels and optimize product storytelling.
  • Communicate weekly with the product team on issues related to product and fixtures.
  • Track and report on store capacity.
  • Analyze ROI of summary groups based on space and sales return, and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Support the Director in identifying market needs, missed opportunities, and competitor best practices.
  • Collaborate with the FLAP Store Development team on necessary projects.
  • Work with the global Space Planning teams to ensure synergistic strategies and share best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent.
  • 4-7 years of experience in retail space planning or allocation.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with the ability to draw conclusions from numerical data.
  • Strong computer skills and experience with database management and content management.
  • Superior communication skills and ability to influence others.
  • Proactive communication, energy, and ability to inspire trust.
  • Strong level of autonomy and self-accountability.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and coordinate activities.
  • Ability to work under pressure, tight deadlines, and changing priorities.
  • Excellent project management skills.
