As a Learning Support Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to assist students with special educational needs (SEN) while addressing a variety of emotional and social hurdles. Many of these students have encountered difficult life experiences, necessitating a compassionate approach to identify their unique needs and provide essential pastoral care.

Your role will involve recognizing and mitigating learning obstacles, fostering self-esteem, enhancing social skills, and building emotional resilience among the students. You will collaborate with the class teacher and multi-disciplinary therapy teams to implement effective behaviour management strategies, encouraging students to make positive choices.

By joining Academics Ltd as a Learning Support Assistant, you will develop crucial skills required for a future career as a Child Therapist, including practical experience in emotional support, behaviour management, and active listening. Your contribution will be vital in creating a stable environment, empowering children and young people with the confidence and tools necessary for success in life.
