Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Child Development Therapist to join our team at Gorilla Jobs. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable private practice in VIC, delivering dedicated paediatric therapy to clients with various needs and presentations, including anxiety, bullying, ASD, ADHD, and education issues such as Dyslexia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialised therapy services, including counselling and assessment, to clients through Medicare, NDIS, or private referrals.
  • Maintain relationships and correspondence with referring doctors and other allied health practitioners.
  • Ensure the upkeep of case notes, file management, and adherence to legal and ethical standards.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology.
  • AHPRA registration.
  • Experience working with paediatric clients.
  • Experience conducting ASD assessments and therapy is preferred but not essential. Training can be provided for willing candidates.
  • Unrestricted Australian working rights.
  • Eligible to obtain Medicare provider numbers.
